Lentil is Daal in Urdu. In Pakistan and throughout the subcontinent, you’ll find version of daal. This is called Masoor Daal and is served with Basmati rice. It’s simply called Daal Chawal.I took the liberty to make it a tad spicy and deepen the yellow color. I’ll be sharing the classic version soon! Until then, enjoy this!
