We often tend to get bored of the regular rice. Get rid of your boredom with this easy and delicious jeera rice. This can be made easily with a very few ingredients and quickly with the help of a pressure cooker.

When had with a gravy like Paneer butter masala, Chole masala Jeera rice is manna from heaven.

This is my version which infuses the aroma of coconut oil and coconut milk. At least, it makes this rice not very boring. For bachelors, it’s very friendly as the ingredients are easily available.

Basmati rice – 1 cup (200 g)
Coconut oil – 1 tbsp
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Spices – 1 dalchini, 2 elaichi, 2 cloves, 1 bayleaf (tejpatta)
Coconut milk and water – 1.5 cups
