Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Mutton – 500gm
Cooking Oil – 2Tbsp
Caraway seeds ( Shah Jeera) – 2
Cinnamon – 1 inch stick
Cloves – 4
Cardamom – 4
Bay Leaf- 1
Onion – 2 chopped
Tomato – 2 chopped
Rice – 1 cup soaked for 10 minutes
Ginger Garlic paste – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilly powder – 2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Biryani Masala powder – 1 tsp
Mint leaves – handful chopped
Water – 2 cups
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute’ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add Cooking Oil to the Cooking pot. Add Shah Jeera,Cinammon,Cloves, Cardamom,Bay leaf and let it fry a bit.
Next add chopped Onions & continue in Saute mode for about 3- 5 minutes, till they turn translucent
Next add the Tomatoes and fry. Then add the Ginger Garlic paste, Salt, Chilly powder, Cumin powder,Coriander powder & Biryani masala powder & give a good stir so that all the spices are well mixed. Continue in Saute mode.
Now add the Mutton and continue in Saute mode for another 5 minutes.
Next add the soaked rice and water and stir. Finally add the Mint leaves and stir. Cancel the Saute mode.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Pulao/Biryani pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods. Now TWIST and Open the cooker.
