Quick & Easy Chawal Ki Kheer in Pressure Cooker || Perfect Rice Kheer Recipe – Nom Yumm

Gobindo Bhog Chaal/Jeera Rice 7-8 tsp
Full Fat Milk (Boiled) – 1 lit
Palm Jaggery/Sugar – 1/2 cup
Milk Powder 4-5 tsp
Salt 1 pinch
Cashew 7-8

Here I used Gobindo Bhog rice for making the kheer.You may also use Jeera Samba Rice instead of Gobindo Bhog Rice.

Why I include Gobindo Bhog Rice is because it gives a special kind of texture and aroma in Kheer, so I intentionally skipped cardamom powder in this Kheer Recipe. Otherwise cardamom will dominate the aroma of Gobindo Bhog Rice and Nolen Gur (palm Jaggery)

Also, please note that I used Palm Jaggery. Palm Jaggery is different from Normal jaggery, normal jaggery is acidic in nature, so if u put normal jaggery in boiling milk, it will spoil.

As taste enhancer I used a pinch of salt which is my Grand-mom’s secret!
A small pinch of salt will make a huge difference in the taste of a Kheer.

**Please use Boiled milk for making this kheer to avoid raw milk smell while serving**
