Raw Rice- 2 1/2 Cups
Toor Dal – 3 Tbsp
Dry Red Chillies – 4 Nos
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) – 1 Tsp
Pepper – 1 Teaspoon
Asafoetida – 1 Teaspoon
Salt – To taste
To Saute
Groundnut Oil – 4 tablespoon
Mustard seeds – 1 Tsp
Urad Dal – 1 Tsp
Chana Dal – 1 Tsp
Asafoetida – 1 Teaspoon
Grated Cocunut – 1 Small cup
Curry Leaves – few

1) To Grind – Seperarely with little water

Toor Dal – 3 Tbsp
Dry Red Chillies – 4 Nos
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) – 1 Tsp

2) To Grind – Seperately with out water

Raw Rice- 2 1/2 Cups (Coarsely like Big Rava) with
Pepper – 1 Tsp

Preparation Method:

1) Soak Toor Dal, Red Chillies and Cumin seeds for 10 Minutes and grind coarsely.
2) Sprinkle water in Raw rice and keep aside for 20 minutes and grind like Rice like big Rava along with pepper.
3) Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button
4) Select Saute option –Heat 4 Tbsp Groundnut oil. Add Mustard seeds, Urad Dal, Chana Dal, Redchillies, Asafoetioda & Curry leaves.
5) Add coarsely grinded Toordal, Red chilli and Cumin Paste sauté for 5 min in medium.
6) Add broken Rice and Pepper mixture and sauté for 2 min
7) Add salt to tase and 6 Cups of water and close the Robocook lid
8) Select Pongal or Kitchdi Option or Select 15 minutes manually.
9) Wait for 15 mins to get Natural Pressure Release Ensure the pressure is released completely and open.
10) Add grated Coconut and Curry leaves. Mix well.
